Oyasumi, my 26er mtb est. April 2015.

May 4, 2016: Kaybiang loop, Ternate, Cavite
I haven't exactly determined its gender yet so I'm neutral about it and just refer to him/her as 'it'. Its name derived from my favorite comic Oyasumi Punpun, 'oyasumi' meaning 'good night' in Japanese. It has no Japanese blood whatsoever, I actually only named it because I registered it as a gear on Strava and it needed to be called something. At the time, I was reading the said comic and I thought every time I come home from an epic ride with it, it gives me a good night's sleep so I stuck to it (not really as meaningful or as witty as some of the other cleverly named bikes that I know). I purchased it using my savings from being a part-time, home-based proofreader during my last year in college. It was a long, overdue replacement to my junk of a rig which I exhausted for the first half of my biking to school. (See Unexpected Kaybiang loop).

Felicia, my first fixie est. October 2015.

October 23, 2016: Laguna loop, Pililla, Rizal
(Never mind the rack that's installed which I was too lazy to take out before going on a ride that day, I was able to utilize it by carrying 3 whole chicken and 1 bag of pork from Baliwag... or was it Andok's? I'm a chicken connoisseur, if you don't already know).
This is Felicia. She's named after the character in Straight Outta Compton that became a worldwide meme known as 'Bye, Felicia!' because I'm ghetto like that.  Also, I cannot think of any other name that starts with the letter F??? I got her out of curiosity, What kinda game does fixed gear bikes entail? Of course, I thought about selling it not long after not being able to take it anywhere other than the ~panadery~ because why would anyone want to bike without freewheels or brakes? Early 2016, I was finally able to enjoy its extraordinary feel after learning some necessary tricks. I'm trying to bring it to more long rides. (See Felicia's first Laguna loop).
